The Angelina County Historical Commission works with the community and the state to ensure that places and people of historical interest in our county are marked for posterity. Each fall, the Texas Historical Commission opens up the application period and releases forms for that year. Prior to that period, the ACHC encourages community members who would like to apply for a marker to contact the ACHC for guidance.
